Yeah...It's Friday!
It's Friday and Daddy is coming home today. We have missed him so much this week since he had to work out of state since Tuesday. I am happy to report that you are doing much much better. Yesterday was the first day we didn't have to do a breathing treatment. You are still on your inhaler every 6 hrs. but that will get to stop soon hopefully. You even got to play outside. You are scheduled for surgery May 3rd now for your anoids to be removed. Another big milestone this week is that since we have been at home so much over the past week Mommy has focused more on your potty skills. When Mommy had a pull-up on you it was like you knew when and would use the bathroom in them but if you were wearing your big boy underwear you weren't as likely to have accidents. You are one perseptive little boy so you would even ask to have on a pull-up when we were leaving the house. You have been asking me for a Wiggles guitar and the movie Dance Party since yours broke a couple of months ago. So I told you that if you stopped wearing pull ups to school, church and when we went to the store, ect... that the mailman told me he would bring them to you. So it has now been a week in big boy underwear and since you have only had one accident and it was when you got a boo-boo. You take off your underwear all by yourself, go to the bathroom, and then tell me to come and look. The other day it was so funny because I had no idea you were using the bathroom and you came to me while I was on the computer and said "Mommy there is a big snake in the potty and we need to send him to the woods!" Of course you know what I found in the potty and I couldn't stop laughing. I have no idea where you come up with this stuff. So yesterday was the big day....your movie and guitar arrived. You couln't be more excited. You went to school yesterday and wore underwear for the first time in a long time there and guess what...You even told them when you needed to go and stayed dry all day. Even in the Er over the weekend you were showing off your big boy skills. Mommy is putting pull ups on you when you sleep and last night at 3am you came to me and said "Mommy I'm wet." So I went and got another pull up and you said "no pull-up I want underwear". You still wake up most days wet so we have a little ways to go before that is mastered. I love you sweet-heart and so happy you are feeling better. Here are pics of you showing off your new prize possesion. Love, Mommy

Wow....what a scary time you guys have been having. Glad he is better and the potty training is working for you all! We have been dry 3 days yea!!!
